Ministry Opportunities

IMPACT Youth and Children's Ministry

From 6:00-7:30 p.m. each Wednesday night, 40-50 youth and children gather in the Family Life Center for a meal and Christian discipleship. This ministry is led by Wes Irvin (Director) and Beth Boisvert (Assistant Director).

Music Ministry

We have both a Praise and Worship Band for the 8:30 Contemporary Service and an Adult Choir for the 10:30 Traditional Service. Singers and instrumentalists are invited to see our Director of Music, Karen Pescosolido, about involvement in these music groups.

Perishable Food Pantry

A ministry to help families with food is offered periodically through the year. Not only canned and dry goods are offered, but also fresh food items such as bread, eggs, milk and fruit. Persons are welcome to volunteer to serve in this dynamic ministry. Approximately 55 families are helped quarterly by this food pantry ministry. Please see Ray Fluhr, our Service Outreach Team Leader.

Back to School Clothing

Each July we help up to 100 Adair County School children with new clothing for school. Our members take the students and their families shopping at Walmart and we then pay for $50 of new clothing for each eligible child. Paula Garrison and the other Family Resource Directors help us identify students with the need for this ministry. For more information, please see Ray Fluhr, our Service Outreach Team Leader.

Jail Ministry

We are currently involved in offering the Life Skills 101 classes to the men and women of the Adair County Regional Jail. If you would like to be involved in helping teach one of these classes, please see Dan Thies. We are also involved in the Celebrate Recovery ministry in the women's jail. Please see Patti Fluhr if you would like to help in this ministry.

Uganda Counseling and Support Services

We are actively supporting an international ministry located in Uganda. Through Ronald Kaluya, a local remote village (Buliike) is receiving evangelistic ministry, discipleship, clean water, medical care, education, and economic development. If you would like to learn more or become involved in helping Ronald, please see Fred Brown.

Thailand Methodist Mission

We also actively support the Thailand Methodist Mission led by Rev. Mike Morrisey and Rev. Sherri Morrisey. This ministry works to plant churches in very unchurched areas of Thailand and also has two facilities to care for children and youth in need (Blessing Homes). The Morrisey's will be visiting Trinity and speaking at both services on Sunday morning, July 24, 2016.
